The TSX is Acura’s sport sedan, designed to fill the gap between the RSX sport coupe and the
premium TL sedan. Acura unveiled the all-new TSX at the 2003 North American International Auto
Show in Detroit, "The TSX is designed to compete head on with other premium sport sedans from
Europe and Japan.

The TL introduced in 1996 was the first Acura to adopt the alphanumeric model designation system
that spreaded to the entire Acura line. The 2.5TL was first on the market, later joined by the V6-
powered 3.2TL. In 1999 the TL was completely redesigned, and in 2002 the high-performance Type S
was added to the lineup. The third-generation TL was introduced in 2004 with all-new styling and a
slew of high-tech features. For 2007 the TL is updated with new exterior and interior styling and marks
the return of the Type-S after a 3-year hiatus.
New for 2008
After being revised for 2007, the 2008 Acura TL receives parchment to all TL interior trim when paired
with exterior color of White Diamond Pearl or Carbon Bronze Pearl, an updated vehicle security
immobilizer system, two new exterior colors and expansion to 76 metropolitan areas for the AcuraLink
real-time traffic system. The Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition is now available in
Hawaii.

The RL is Acura’s flagship 4-door sedan that replaced the Legend in 1996. With an extensive update
for the 1999 model year that included new styling, a refined interior, improved suspension and HID
headlights. The third-generation RL debuted for the 2005 model year with new high-tech features and
Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive System (SH-AWD).

The 2008 Acura RL continues unchanged but the AcuraLink real-time traffic expands to 76

The RDX is a 5-passenger Entry Premium SUV that features Acura’s first-ever turbocharged engine.
Alongside the midsize MDX, the RDX is the second crossover sport-utility vehicle from Acura.
Equipped with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), the RDX offers the performance and
handling a sport sedan with the utility of an SUV.
New for 2008
After making its debut for the 2007 model year, the 2008 Acura RDX receives a number of upgrades
including an automatic dimming rearview mirror, dual-position memory for driver’s seat and mirrors,
personalized settings via 8-inch Multi-Information Display (MID) and Bluetooth HandsFree Link
wireless telephone interface with steering-wheel-mounted controls. The AcuraLink real-time traffic
expands to 76 metropolitan areas and the Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition now
works in Hawaii. Polished Metal Metallic is also added as a new exterior color.

The MDX is a midsize luxury crossover SUV with seating for seven occupants. Acura was one of the
first import luxury brands to offer a sport utility in 1996, with the SLX, which was a rebadged Isuzu
Trooper. The MDX concept vehicle was unveiled at the 2000 North American International Auto Show
and the production version debuted a few months later at the 2000 New York Auto Show. For 2007 the
MDX was redesigned with a more athletic appearance, a longer and wider body, a longer wheelbase
and a lower ride height. Acura’s flagship SUV was tuned on the world famous Nurburgring racetrack
in Germany and is the sixth Acura project to be designed and engineered in the U.S.

After getting a makeover for 2007, the 2008 Acura MDX adds an automatic dimming rearview mirror,
taupe to all interior trims when paired with exterior color of Aspen White Pearl, Sterling Gray Metallic
as a new exterior color. The AcuraLink real-time traffic expands to 76 metropolitan areas and the
Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition is now available in Hawaii.
