The Focus is Ford's compact car that is redesigned for 2008 and is available as a 2-door coupe and
a 4-door sedan The Focus was first introduced in 1998 in Europe and came to the U.S. for the 2000
model year.

New for 2008

The redesigned 2008 Ford Focus delivers a bold new exterior design, an all-new interior with
improved craftsmanship and flexibility, and new suspension tuning for improved driving dynamics.
With exterior styling that draws from the Ford Fusion including the horizontal chrome bar grille, the
Focus is available for the first time as a two-door coupe, as well as a four-door sedan. The interior
features materials and colors for a contemporary design with ice blue lighting for the instrument
cluster and an available ambient lighting system that allows the driver to chose from seven different
colors for the cupholders and the footwells.

The Focus Wagon is Ford’s compact wagon, also available in three other bodystyles: 3-door

and a Reverse Sensing System is newly available. Also new is the Ford Sync (late availability), which

Sport Appearance Package features a black chrome grille, 18-inch wheels and tires, sport-tuned
suspension, chrome exhaust tips and unique red seats. Also new is the interior ambient lighting
system that can be configured by the driver or front-seat passenger with seven different colors.

The Mustang is Ford’s sports car icon that debuted in 1964, creating a new market segment that
became known as "Pony Cars." The Mustang was redesigned for 2005 and while it is immediately
recognizable as a Mustang, it now offers thoroughly modern performance with powerful engines,
advanced MacPherson struts, and a three-link live axle with Panhard rod rear suspension for the rear-
wheel-drive platform. The standard Mustang is powered by a 210-horsepower 4.0-liter V6 engine, and
the Mustang GT is powered by a 300-horsepower 4.6-liter V8.

New for 2008

The 2008 Ford Mustang adds more options, standard front-seat side airbags on all trims and a
limited-edition Warriors in Pink Package in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. New optional
equipment include interior ambient lighting, HID headlights and 18-inch wheels on the V6. The
Warriors in Pink Package features a pink ribbon and Pony fender badge, pink “Mustang” rocker tape
stripe, charcoal leather seats and floor mats with Pink contrast stitching, leather-wrapped aluminum
spoke steering wheel with Pink contrast stitching and an unique Pony grille with chrome bezel and
fog lights. Sales from the Warriors in Pink edition will help raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the

The Five Hundred is Ford’s flagship four-door sedan which debuted for 2005, built on a new platform
shared with the Freestyle crossover. Featuring what Ford calls Command Seating, which positions
the driver and passengers higher than in a typical sedan, more like an SUV, the Five Hundred
features energy-channeling frame and body structures for improved safety. Ford describes the Five
Hundred as an upscale sedan for persons who like the upright Command Seating, flexible storage,
and all-wheel-drive capability of an SUV, but prefer the comfort and driving characteristics of a sedan.

New for 2007

The 2007 Ford Five Hundred adds several new packages, optional SIRIUS satellite radio and two
new exterior colors. A new chrome package is available for SE and SEL with 18-inch eight-spoke
chrome clad wheels and a chrome mesh grille. Other options for the SEL include a navigation
system, heated seats, and three packages. An interior convenience package includes fog lights, in-
dash 6-disc CD changer, dual electronic temperature control, automatic lights and an outside-
temperature display; an interior power package features eight-way power driver seat and adjustable
pedals; and a Limited convenience package includes memory adjustable pedals, a universal garage
door opener, reverse sensing and a trunk cargo net. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard
on all front-wheel-drive models. Front-seat side airbags are standard and Ford’s Safety Canopy side
air curtain system will be available later in the model year.

The Taurus is Ford’s full-size sedan and is one of the most recognized vehicle nameplates in the
market. The Five Hundred joined the Ford lineup for 2005 and replaced the Taurus for the 2006 and
2007 model years. The Taurus name returns to the Ford lineup as a 2008 model in the summer of
2007 as an updated version of the Five Hundred. When the Taurus was introduced in 1985, the
unique styling created a buzz in the market and by 1987, it was Ford’s best-selling car. From 1992 to
1996, Taurus was the best-selling car in America. The 2000 Taurus was the first production car to

The 2008 Ford Taurus takes design cues from the Ford Fusion and the Ford Edge crossover,

new Taurus is an updated Five Hundred with a new 263-horsepower 3.5-liter Duratec V6 engine that
produces 245 lb-ft of torque and is teamed with the same 6-speed automatic transmission found in

audio input, available voice-activated navigation a DVD rear-seat entertainment system and factory-
installed SIRIUS Satellite Radio. Ford Sync offers a new level of connection, control, simplicity and

The Crown Victoria is Ford’s traditional full-size, V8-powered, rear-wheel-drive American sedan. The
Crown Victoria is built on a platform first introduced in 1979 and was updated in 1998 with a
freshened appearance and chassis improvements.

The 2007 Ford Crown Victoria adds a standard AM/FM audio system with CD player and remote
keyless entry system SmartLock on all models. Available options include a perimeter alarm system,

The 2007 Ford Freestyle is Ford’s all-new crossover vehicle that debuted for 2005, built from the
ground up to be a crossover rather than converting an existing minivan or SUV, and shares a new
platform with the new Five Hundred sedan. Ford describes the Freestyle as offering the looks of an
SUV, the versatility of a minivan, and the confidence of an all-wheel-drive sedan. The Freestyle
features seven-passenger capacity, versatility for passenger or cargo use, and available all-wheel
drive.

New for 2007

The 2007 Ford Freestyle receives standard front-seat side-impact airbags and Safety Canopy side air
curtains and adds four new packages for 2007 including three for the SEL; the Interior Convenience
Group package, Interior Power Package, and Safety and Security Package. The Interior Convenience

The Taurus X is Ford’s full-size crossover SUV that joins the lineup for the 2008 model year as an
updated and revised version of the Freestyle which it replaces. Taking design cues from the Ford
Edge, the exterior features a Ford three-bar chrome grille, restyled hood, newly shaped front fenders
and fascia, Edge-inspired taillights and dual chrome-tipped exhaust. Offering three rows of seating,
the Taurus X seats up to seven occupants.

New for 2008

The 2008 Taurus X is powered by a 263-horsepower 3.5-liter Duratec 35 V6 engine mated to a 6-
speed automatic transmission. Offered in SEL, Eddie Bauer and Limited trim levels, the interior
features stadium style seating, one-touch flip-and-fold second-row seats, and an optional power rear

The Ford Shelby GT500 is the result of Carroll Shelby and the Ford Special Vehicle Team joining
forces to produce a successor to the Shelby GT500 of the late 1960s. With classic Shelby design
cues including dual stripes, aerodynamic body parts and 18-inch wheels, the GT500 is the most
powerful factory-produced Mustang ever built, and was officially rated at 500 horsepower using the
Society of Automotive Engineer’s latest standard.

After making its debut for 2007, the 2008 Ford Shelby GT500 adds ambient interior lighting as an
optional feature, optional HID headlights, front driver-and passenger-seat side airbags and Vapor
Metallic as a new color.

The Escape is Ford’s compact 4-door SUV that was added to the Ford lineup for 2001. The Escape is
built on a platform that was developed with Mazda and is shared with the Mazda Tribute. The Escape
features unibody construction, 4-wheel independent suspension, and is available with either front-
wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. For 2008 the Escape receives a total makeover inside and out featuring
a more rugged design to bear a stronger family resemblance to the Ford Explorer and Ford
Expedition. Inside, the seating surfaces are made from 100 percent post-industrial materials rather
than virgin fibers, a process that helps conserve water and electricity. Also, the center console is large
enough to hold a laptop computer and it can also be removed and hung from the front passenger
side and rear of the console for additional storage.

The 2008 Ford Escape receives a makeover inside and out featuring a bolder, rugged design, higher
beltline, raised hood and a new front fascia with headlights that sweep up toward the front corners of
the vehicle to short side marker lights. The interior features seating surfaces comprised of 100
percent post-industrial materials, a revised dashboard with “a top of dash” display, Electric Power
Assisted Steering system, improved center console, Ice Blue interior lighting. A number of updates
have been made to reduce noise, vibration and harshness levels inside the SUV including changes
to the roof panel for a better airflow, a new acoustic laminate sandwiched between two glass panels
in the windshield and new carpeting. Under the hood is a 2.3-liter 16-valve Duratec 23 4-cylinder
engine that produces 153 horsepower and 152 lb-ft of torque mated to either a five-speed manual or
four-speed automatic. Optional is a 200-horsepower 3.0-liter 24-valve V6.

The Explorer Sport Trac is Ford’s newest SUV that combines the passenger room and comfort of the
4-door Explorer with a pickup cargo bed in place of the typical enclosed SUV cargo area. The Explorer
was introduced in 1991 and the Sport Trac was added for 2001. The second-generation Explorer
Sport Trac debuts as a 2007 model in the spring of 2006 with exterior styling shared with the
redesigned 2006 Explorer.

and technology options to its lineup. New standard equipment include power windows (late
availability), fog lights, leather-wrapped steering wheel, drop-in storage bin and a side-curtain airbag

exclusive Sync hands-free in-car communications and entertainment system.

The Edge is Ford's crossover SUV that debuted at the 2006 North American International Auto Show.
Featuring a bold three-bar grille, a raked windshield and a fast-sloping back window, the Edge is also
equipped with a high-mounted rear spoiler and wheels that are pushed to the far corners to deliver an
aggressive stance. The interior features seating for five and cargo space can be maximized to carry
objects up to 8 feet long when the rear seats and the front passenger seat are folded.
