The H3 is HUMMER's new midsize SUV and the third model in the vehicle lineup. Based on the
Chevrolet Colorado pickup platform, the H3 is designed to deliver authentic HUMMER style and off-
road capability in a smaller, more fuel-efficient package. For 2008 the H3 Alpha is added to the lineup
featuring unique looks and a more powerful engine. The H3 Alpha comes with 16-inch chrome
wheels, Alpha badging, “Luxury” equipment package and Chrome Appearance package.

The H3 Alpha is added to the lineup for 2008 featuring a 300-horsepower 5.3-liter V8 engine that
delivers 320 lb-ft of torque with a maximum towing capacity of 6,000 lbs. Sharing much of the interior
equipment with the regular H3, the H3 Alpha also receives new child safety locks for the rear doors
and relocated power window switches. The exterior is unique and a number of accessories available
straight from the factory including bright roof crossbars, body-color grille and chrome fuel door. A
number of safety equipment are now standard for the entire H3 lineup including electronic stability
control system, four-wheel anti-lock brakes with traction control, dual front airbags with Passenger
Sensing System, tire-pressure-monitoring system and LATCH rear child seat anchors.

The H2 was the second SUV offered by HUMMER drawing on the H1 that was originally designed for
military use. The H2 was the first new vehicle under the HUMMER brand since GM acquired exclusive
ownership of the HUMMER brand. The H2 may be scaled down, but it offers all the capability expected
from HUMMER. The H2 SUT is added for 2005.

Note: Because the GVWR of the H2 is 8,600 lbs, the automaker is not required to release fuel
economy ratings, and the EPA does not test the H2.

New for 2008

The 2008 Hummer H2 receives an all-new 6.2-liter V8 that produces 393 horsepower (an increase of
68 hp) and a new six-speed automatic for improved performance and efficiency. Also the towing
capacity has been increased 8,200 pounds. The interior is all new and a number of features are new
including the seats, overhead DVD entertainment system, rear-seat heating/air conditioning system,
door trim panels, controls and instrument panel. Several new safety features have also been added
including roof rail head curtain side airbags, safety belt pretensioners (first-row seats), electronic
stability control system with rollover mitigation technology, new traction control system, panic brake
assist and a tire-pressure-monitoring system.
