The C-Class is the Mercedes-Benz entry-luxury sedan, redesigned for 2008 and offered in either
Luxury or Sport versions with the AMG-inspired Sport easily identified by the three-pointed star
incorporated into the front grille. The C-Class was introduced in 1993 as a 1994 model to replace the
190 sedan. A C-Class Coupe was introduced for 2002 and continued through the 2005 model year.

New for 2008

The redesigned 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is offered in either Luxury or Sport versions with the
Sport easily identified by the three-pointed star incorporated into the front grille. The C350 Sport is
powered by a 268-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission while the
C300 Sport and C300 Luxury are powered by a 228-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 with a 6-speed manual
for the C300 Sport. Both C300 Sport and Luxury will be available with a new 4Matic all-wheel-drive
system. Standard equipment includes a power sunroof, eight-way power front seat, two-zone
automatic climate control, 17-inch wheels, Bluetooth connectivity and a central controller with a seven-
inch display screen. Sport versions feature twin-spoke 17-inch wheels of staggered width; sport
shocks, springs and stabilizer bars; more than a half-inch lower ride height; three-spoke steering
wheel; and aluminum (C300) or black Birdseye maple (C350) interior trim.

The R-Class is Mercedes' 6-passenger luxury vehicle built on the same platform as the M-Class SUV.
The Sports Tourer combines the attributes of a luxury SUV and a sport sedan.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz R-Class adds optional seven-passenger seating, the R350 is now
available with two- or all-wheel drive and all models come with standard AMG body styling and 18-
inch wheels. The R500 and R63 AMG have been discontinued.

The CLK-Class is the Mercedes-Benz line of luxury coupes and cabriolets, including sporty AMG
versions. The CLK line was introduced in 1997 as a 1998 model with the CLK320 which featured the
first production V6 engine from Mercedes-Benz. Sharing many chassis components with the C-Class
and echoing styling cues from the E-Class, the CLK was designed to compete in the luxury coupe
market and was joined by the CLK320 Cabriolet and the V8-powered CLK430 Coupe for 1999. The
second-generation CLK coupe was introduced for the 2003 model year followed by the cabriolet for
2004.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class adds the CLK63 AMG Black Series, a street legal version of the
Official F1 Safety Car. Powered by a 507-horsepower 6.2-liter AMG-developed normally-aspirated V8
engine, the CLK63 AMG Black Series is lighter than other CLK coupes and feature carbon-fiber flared
fenders, 19-inch AMG forged aluminum wheels, Pirelli P Zero Corsa sport tires, larger perforated
composite disc brakes, aggressive front spoiler with carbon-fiber air intakes, flared rear fenders and
a new rear apron with carbon-fiber air diffuser fins.

The E-Class is Mercedes-Benz midsize luxury sedan and it received refreshed styling, restyled
interior and more standard equipment for 2007. The E320 BLUETEC also joined the lineup replacing
the E320 CDI offering high performance, better fuel economy and extremely low emissions. When
Mercedes-Benz completely redesigned the E-Class for 1996, it not only changed the car, it also
changed the image. Designed to be roomier and safer than its predecessor, the E-Class included
the industry's first front-door-mounted side airbags.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz E-Class adds a new AMG Sport package that includes AMG front and rear
aprons, 18-inch five-spoke wheels, dual chrome exhaust and an AMG steering wheel with shift

The E-Class Wagon is Mercedes-Benz midsize wagon that returned to the U.S. for 1998 with the first
front door-mounted side airbags. Restyled with a total makeover for 2007, the E-Class Wagon got an
all-new look and a number of interior updates. In the 2003 model year, a new-generation E-Class
sedan but the wagon was carried over. A new E-Class Wagon joined the lineup for 2004.

The CLS-Class is an entirely new class of Mercedes-Benz that combines the emotional appeal and
dynamic design of a coupe with the comfort and functionality of a sedan. The CLS design, which has
been referred to as a 4-door coupe is characterized by a sleek, arching silhouette that is accentuated
by the way that the roofline and C-pillars blend into the rear fenders and decklid. The CLS shares
many mechanical components with the E-Class sedan but all of the body panels are unique.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class 4-door Coupe continues with two versions, the CLS550
powered by a 392-horsepower 5.5-liter V8 and the CLS63 AMG powered by 507-horsepower 6.2-liter
V8 produced by AMG.

The S-Class is the flagship sedan of the Mercedes-Benz lineup that was redesigned for the 2007
model year with bold new styling, spirited driving dynamics and technical innovation.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz S-Class adds the S63 AMG powered by a 518-horsepower 6.2-liter
normally aspirated V8 engine developed by AMG, combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Featuring AMG styling and 20-inch AMG wheels, the S63 AMG will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in
only 4.5 seconds. The S63 AMG joins the S65 AMG that is powered by a 604 horsepower 6.0-liter twin-
turbocharged V12 that produces 738 lb-ft of torque.

The SL-Class is the fifth-generation of the Mercedes-Benz two-seat roadster that first debuted in
1957. The SL500 went on sale in the spring of 2002 as a 2003 model, and was joined that fall by the
high-performance SL55 AMG. The SL600 joined the lineup for 2004 and the SL65 AMG was added for
2005. For 2007 the SL-Class is restyled with a more aggressive exterior and refined interior.

New for 2008

After getting restyled for 2007, the 2008 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class adds standard 18-inch five-twin-
spoke wheels for the SL550 and Premium Nappa Leather is now available as part of the SL550 Trim
Package.

The CL-Class is the limited-production Mercedes-Benz luxury coupe with a distinctive, dramatic
design to showcase much of the latest Mercedes-Benz technology. As the premier coupe sold
alongside the S-Class sedans, the CL-Class occupies the top rung of the Mercedes-Benz model
range and is often the first model to receive new technological features. The CL-Class was updated
for 2007 with more powerful engines, a revised lineup and new technological features.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class adds the flagship CL65 AMG and a CL65 AMG Edition to
commemorate the 40th anniversary of AMG. The CL65 AMG is powered by a twin-turbocharged V12
that produces 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque and includes the latest-generation AMG sport
suspension based on Active Body Control, a high-performance AMG braking system and forged 20-
inch AMG twin-spoke wheels. Finished in exclusive AMG Alubeam (Liquid Metal) paint, only 40 of the
40th Anniversary CL65 will be produced with two-tone Nappa leather seats finished in a diamond
pattern, V12 logos embossed in the front head restraints, a color-coordinated Alcantara headliner and
carbon fiber interior trim.

The SLK is Mercedes-Benz’s small two-seat roadster with a power retractable hardtop. The SLK was
an immediate hit when it debuted as a concept car at the 1994 Turin Auto Show and went on sale as
a 1998 model with the first power retractable top for a Mercedes-Benz roadster. The SLK received its
first redesign for the 2005 model year with exterior styling cues drawn from the SLR McLaren
supercar and a new interior feature, the AIRSCARF, which is a neck-level heating vent for top-down
driving.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLK adds a Ten-Year Anniversary SLK350 edition featuring standard
automatic transmission, 17-inch wheels, Edition 10 badging, red stitching on seats and red dash trim.

The SLR McLaren is Mercedes-Benz’s high-performance sports GT with styling elements from the
original 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SLR roadster, the legendary SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe, and Formula 1
Silver Arrow races cars. The SLR McLaren showcases the experience of both Mercedes-Benz and its
Formula 1 partner McLaren, and is powered by a hand-built 617-horsepower supercharged 5.5-liter
V8, the first engine developed exclusively by Mercedes-AMG. One of the most recognizable styling
cues carried forward from the original SLR is the gullwing doors, although on the SLR McLaren the
doors are hinged at the front of the door rather than at the roof.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLR is now available as a roadster with the semi-automatic roof that opens
or closes in less than ten seconds. Available in three different colors, the roof can be opened and
closed at speeds of 120 mph. The engine hasn’t changed and the SLR Roadster can achieve a top
speed of 207 mph.

The second-generation M-Class debuted as a 2006 model with an emphasis on comfort and
performance for the street, including a new unibody platform, double-wishbone front suspension, and
four-link rear suspension. The new M-Class is 5.9 inches longer, 2.8 inches wider and 0.4 inches
lower than its predecessor. The interior is redesigned with the emphasis on more comfort and user-
friendly space. The new M-Class relies on electronics for continued off-road capability and features
the first seven-speed automatic in an SUV. The original M-Class was one of the first luxury SUVs
when the 1998 ML320 entered the market in 1997.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz M-Class adds the ML550 as a replacement for the ML500, powered by a
382-horsepower 5.5-liter V8 with 391 lb-ft of torque. The ML550 features AMG styling with deeper front
and rear under bumper aprons, 19-inch AMG wheels and running boards.

The GL-Class is the first large SUV from Mercedes-Benz with seating for seven. It is a luxury sport-
utility vehicle that joins the lineup alongside the 5-passenger M-Class and the legendary G-Class
SUVs. With steel uni-body construction, the GL-Class is 200 inches long and is produced in the
same Mercedes-Benz plant in Tuscaloosa, AL where the M-Class and R-Class are produced.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class adds the GL550 powered by a 382-horsepower 5.5-liter V8 that
produces 391 lb-ft of torque. The GL550 features distinctive exterior styling that includes 21-inch AMG
wheels fitted with all-season tires, fender flares, chrome trim, blue-tinted glass and a larger execution
of the Mercedes-Benz star integrated into the front grille.

The G-Class is Mercedes-Benz’s serious off-road SUV that has been sold in Europe for many years
as the Mercedes-Benz Galaendewagen. Hand-built by Magna Steyr on behalf of Mercedes-Benz in a
special factory located in Graz, Austria, the G-Class is designed to handle the roughest of terrain
while keeping its occupants in the lap of luxury. It can climb grades of up to 36 degrees, and features
ground clearance of more than eight inches.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mercedes-Benz G-Class adds a new taillight design, gauges, steering wheel, rear-view
camera and a hands-free phone interface. The G500 receives a new seven-speed automatic
transmission.
