1997 with Porsche’s new liquid-cooled flat six-cylinder “boxer” engine. The Boxster first debuted as a

Porche 550 Spyder. The Boxster S was added for 2000 with a higher level of performance. The
second-generation Boxster debuted for the 2005 model year with updates for the first time since its
debut.

automatically extending rear spoiler for a very distinctive look that also includes fog lights integrated
into the front air intakes, exclusively designed side air intakes and dual sport tailpipes.
