Rabbit
Volkswagen’s compact hatchback, which is actually the next generation of the Golf. The first generation
of the Golf was sold in the U.S. as the Rabbit, but the Golf name was adopted for the U.S. market as
well with the debut of the second-generation Golf for the 1985 model year. The Rabbit is offered in both
two-door and four-door hatchback versions and is designed to deliver a high level of standard

Volkswagen's compact sedan that was first introduced in the mid-1980s as a slightly upscale version

Passat Wagon
Volkswagen’s midsize wagon that was first introduced to America in 1990 as successor to the midsize
Quantum wagon. In the fall of 1997, the all-new 1998 Passat sedan went on sale, and was joined by
the wagon in 1998. The Passat Wagon moved upscale in 2002 with the introduction of the high-end
W8. The Passat sedan was updated for 2006 and the new Passat Wagon debuted early in 2006 as a
2007 model, skipping the 2006 model year.

Eos
A four-seat convertible from Volkswagen that features a power retractable hardtop. Volkswagen refers
to the roof structure as CSC (coupe-sunroof-convertible), which incorporates both a panoramic glass
sunroof and a heated-glass rear window. The large sunroof panel can be opened without lowering the
top structure and is sandwiched between the roof panels when the power hardtop is lowered
completely. Named after the Greek goddess of dawn.

New Beetle
Volkswagen’s modern interpretation of the original Beetle and is offered as both a coupe and a

Volkswagen’s entry into the SUV segment, sharing a platform with the Porsche Cayenne. The Touareg

Passat
Volkswagen’s midsize sedan that gives consumers a step up from the Jetta to the near-luxury category

Passat was completely new for the 1998 model year with more appeal to the design and slightly larger

GTI
Volkswagen’s sporty three-door hatchback and four-door sedan. Based on the Golf, the fifth-
generation 2006 GTI was redesigned for 2006 with more dramatic exterior styling and a higher level of
performance. A four-door GTI is introduced for 2007 for the first time ever. The original Rabbit GTI
debuted in the early 1980s with the promise of German performance and engineering in an affordable
package and the GTI has now delivered on that promise for more than 30 years.

R32
A high-performance two-door hatchback version of the Golf, added to the Volkswagen line-up for the
2004 model year. After a four-year hiatus, the R32 returns for the 2008 model year completely
redesigned with more power, performance and styling. The 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system transfers
at least 75 percent of available torque to the rear wheels. Volkswagen claims a 0 to 60 mph time of
about 6.5 seconds.

A new model for 2009, offered in four different trim levels. The CC Sport and CC Luxury are powered by
Volkswagen’s 200-horsepower 2.0T 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 207 lb-ft of torque

transmission with Tiptronic.

Routan
