The Cobalt is Chevrolet’s compact sedan and coupe that debuted for 2005, replacing the Cavalier in

system are standard on all U.S. retail models. A chrome exterior package is offered for LT and the
former Sport Package is now the Performance Appearance Package for LT2 with a rear spoiler, 16-

leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter knob.

The Chevrolet HHR is a new type of vehicle which Chevrolet describes as combining the styling of the
SSR roadster truck with a 1949 Suburban for a unique style all its own. Built on the same platform as
the Chevrolet Cobalt, the HHR debuted for 2006 offering 5-passenger seating with reconfigurable
cargo capacity, including a fold-flat front passenger seat. For 2007 the HHR Panel adds as a unique
cargo vehicle that features windowless side panels, rear cargo doors, seating for two and a large flat
cargo floor.

New for 2008

The 2008 Chevrolet HHR adds standard OnStar and a standard tire-pressure-monitoring system.
Five-passenger versions are available with solid rear quarter panels replacing the rear side windows.
StabiliTrak stability control and new 16-inch wheels are available and four new colors are added:
Cardinal Red Metallic, Techno Gray Metallic, Victory Red and Blue Flash Metallic.

The Malibu is Chevrolet’s midsize sedan that receives a complete makeover for 2008 with a new
bolder design including a dual-port grille and upscale elements such as an available two-tone
interior. The new Malibu continues to be a five-seat front-wheel-drive sedan but is designed to give
buyers “more bang for the buck.” With upgrades to horsepower, fuel economy and equipment, the
2008 Malibu is also three inches longer with a six inch longer wheelbase than the previous model.
The Malibu name was first used for the top-level Chevelle in 1964 and the name returned for the 1997
model year as an all-new front-wheel-drive sedan.

New for 2008

The redesigned 2008 Chevrolet Malibu is offered in three trim levels, LS, LT and LTZ, powered by
either a 169-horsepower 2.4-liter Ecotec DOHC four-cylinder engine or a 252-horsepower 3.6-liter
DOHC V6 with variable valve timing. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard with the V6 and
will be available later in the model year with the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder on the LTZ. Side-curtain airbags
and front seat-mounted thorax protection air bags are standard. A gasoline-electric hybrid Malibu will
be available in the fourth quarter of 2007, powered by a single-mode hybrid system similar to the
current Saturn Vue Green Line Hybrid which saves gasoline by shutting off the engine when stopped.

The Malibu Maxx is Chevolet’s new midsize 5-door extended sedan that is based on the Epsilon
architecture which is also the basis for the Saab 9-3. The Malibu Maxx has a 6-inch longer wheelbase
than the sedan, but has a shorter overall length. The rear seats and the front passenger seat fold flat
for cargo versatility.

New for 2007

The 2007 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx receives a standard dual-stage frontal airbags with GM Passenger
Sensing System, standard head curtain front and rear side-impact airbags on LS and LT, remote
vehicle starter system, a new 3.5-liter V6 engine with variable valve timing, and three new exterior
colors. Available options include Turn-by-Turn Navigation with Directions & Connections service on
OnStar-equipped vehicles. The Malibu Maxx SS adds new sport seats with larger bolsters, new three-
spoke leather-wrapped sport steering wheel and leather-covered shifter knob.

The Malibu Hybrid is Chevrolet’s new gasoline-electric hybrid version of the redesigned midsize
Malibu sedan. With a bold new design that includes a dual-port grille and upscale elements such as

liter Ecotec VVT 4-cylinder engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission rated at 164 horsepower
and 159 lb-ft of torque. The GM Hybrid system reduces fuel consumption by shutting off the engine
when the vehicle is stopped, restarting the engine promptly when the brake pedal is released, early
fuel shut-off during deceleration, capturing energy during deceleration through regenerative braking to
charge the advanced nickel metal hydride battery and performing intelligent battery charging when it is
most efficient.

The Monte Carlo is Chevrolet’s sport coupe that debuted in 1970 as a V8-powered, rear drive
personal luxury coupe. The Monte Carlo grew larger in mid-70s then in 1978 moved to a smaller
platform with a V6 engine. The Monte Carlo was discontinued in 1988, and returned for the 1995
model year.

New for 2007

The 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo adds a tire-pressure monitor, a FlexFuel badge for all 3.5-liter 3500
V6-equipped models, standard 17-inch alloy wheels on LT, new 7.0 Generation OnStar system with
Turn-by-Turn navigation, and four new exterior colors. The Monte Carlo SS receives a standard XM
Satellite Radio and an optional Rally Stripe package. The LTZ model and 3.9-liter V6 engine has been
discontinued.

The Impala is Chevrolet’s midsize sedan and the latest version debuted for 2000. The first Impala
was the 1958 and in 1959 it was Chevrolet’s best-selling car. In 1965, one million Impalas were sold;
a record for a single nameplate. The Impala name returned in 1994 as a high-performance Caprice
Classic.

New for 2008

The 2008 Chevrolet Impala adds standard StabiliTrak electronic stability control on 2LT, LTZ and SS.
The 3.9-liter V6 engine is now E85 FlexFuel capable. Wheel updates include 18-inch chrome
aluminum wheels on Impala SS, 17-inch alloy wheels on 2LT and 18-inch machined aluminum
flangeless wheels on LTZ with performance-oriented FE3 suspension is standard on LTZ. Luxury
Edition for 1LT includes leather trim, OnStar Turn-By-Turn Navigation, steering-wheel radio controls,
flip-and-fold rear seat, ABS with traction control and rear spoiler. New exterior colors are Gold Mist
Metallic, Mocha Bronze Metallic and Slate Metallic.

The Corvette is Chevrolet’s world-class, high-performance sports car. A true American icon, the
Corvette was introduced in January 1953.The first 300 cars were produced by hand and powered by
235-cubic-inch 6-cylinder engines. In 1955 a V8 was first offered and in 1965 a big-block V8 was
optional and 4-wheel disc brakes became standard. The fifth-generation C5 Corvette was introduced
in 1997, with the Z06 added in 2001 along with additional performance equipment. The 2005 C6 was
the first Corvette in more than 40 years without retractable headlights and the Z06 returned again for
2006.

New for 2008

An all-new LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 430 horsepower and 424 lb-ft of torque is standard
for the 2008 Chevrolet Corvette coupe and convertible. Interior trim is updated including a wrapped
center trim plate with Cyber pattern brushed aluminum accents and an available custom Leather-
Wrapped Interior Package. Shift effort for the 6-speed manual transmission is improved and shift
times are quicker for the paddle-shift 6-speed automatic. Standard wheels are a new split-spoke cast
aluminum design and Competition Gray finish is optional. New exterior colors are Jetstream Blue
Metallic Tintcoat and Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat.

The Equinox is Chevrolet’s compact SUV that joined the Chevrolet lineup for 2005, replacing the
Tracker. Drawing its styling from the midsize TrailBlazer, the Equinox offers a flexible interior to
accommodate passengers and cargo with Multi-flex rear seating that allows the rear seat to be
moved forward for more cargo capacity or moved back for more rear-seat legroom.

New for 2008

The 2008 Chevrolet Equinox adds the Equinox Sport powered by a 264-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 with a
6-speed automatic transmission and includes lowered suspension, 18-inch wheels, hydraulic power
steering and tuned exhaust. The Equinox LTZ is also new for 2008 and features 17-inch bright
chrome-clad aluminum wheels, bright chrome door handles, bright chrome luggage rack inserts,
heated front seats, leather seating inserts, head side-curtain impact airbags, and a Pioneer premium
seven speaker audio system with six-disc in-dash CD changer and MP3 playback capability.

The TrailBlazer is Chevrolet’s midsize SUV which began as the S-10 Blazer in 1983. When the
midsize SUV was redesigned in 1995, the S-10 was dropped and the name was changed to simply
Blazer. The third-generation debuted for 2002, adopting the TrailBlazer name.

New for 2008

The 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer offers XM Satellite Radio and head side-curtain airbags standard on
all trim levels. Three new exterior colors for 2008 are Dark Cherry Metallic, Black Granite Metallic and

The Tahoe is Chevrolet’s full-size SUV that was originally called the Blazer. The Blazer was
redesigned in 1992 and when the 4-door was added in 1995, the name was changed to Tahoe.
Tahoe was updated for 2000, incorporating the look and features of the current generation Silverado
truck. The all-new Tahoe debuted as a 2007 model in early 2006.

New for 2008

The 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe receives standard head-curtain side-impact airbags on all trim levels.
Other updates include gauge cluster, seat and trim updates and two new exterior colors: Blue Granite
and Deep Ruby Metallic.

The Suburban is Chevrolet’s full-size extended wheelbase SUV that was first introduced as the
Chevrolet Suburban Carryall in 1935. The real predecessor to today's Suburban was introduced in

debuted as a 2007 model in early 2006.

The Chevrolet Uplander was introduced for the 2005 model year and Chevrolet calls it a crossover
sport van in the mid-van segment, rather than a minivan. Chevrolet describes the Uplander as
combining the bold styling of an SUV, the passenger room and interior versatility of a van, and the
smooth ride and fuel efficiency of a sedan. Uplander is available in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-
drive configurations, and offers up to 7-passenger seating.

New for 2008

The 2008 Chevrolet Uplander adds standard StabiliTrak electronic stability control, tire pressure
monitoring system and XM Satellite Radio on all trim levels.

The Express is Chevrolet’s full-size cargo van, offered in standard and extended-wheelbase versions.
Chevrolet’s full-size van was redesigned in 1996 when it was renamed the Express. In 2003, the
Express received fresh styling, all-wheel drive and a number of new features.

The 2008 Chevrolet Express receives a standard tire-pressure-monitoring system, expanded driver
information and a freshened interior. The refined interior consists of a number of new equipment
including a new steering wheel, headlight switch, HVAC dials, radio, window switches, revised

prominent gold bow tie. Large headlights are stacked vertically and pushed to the outer edges of the
body. The Silverado was introduced in 1999 as a replacement for the C/K half-ton pickup.

The Silverado Hybrid is Chevrolet’s gasoline-electric hybrid half-ton pickup that was added to the
Silverado line for 2005 and is the first full-size truck with hybrid propulsion technology for improved
fuel economy. The Silverado Hybrid is powered by a standard Vortec 5300 5.3-liter V8 engine and a 4-
speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission coupled with the hybrid propulsion system which
replaces the traditional starter motor and alternator with a compact 14-kw electric induction motor or
starter generator integrated between the engine and transmission. The starter generator provides
fast, quiet starting power and allows the gasoline engine to automatically start and stop under certain
conditions to conserve fuel. The Silverado Hybrid also offers four 120-volt/20-amp electrical auxiliary
power outlets located under the rear seat and in the pickup bed.

New for 2007

The 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic Hybrid continues unchanged.

The Avalanche is Chevrolet’s full-size four-door pickup with a short bed that combines the attributes of
an SUV and a pickup. The Convert-a-Cab System and Midgate allows the cargo area to expand into
the passenger compartment when the rear passenger seat is folded flat. The Avalanche was
redesigned for 2007 with improved aerodynamics and is built on GM's new full-size SUV platform
featuring a new, fully boxed frame. The interior is refined and the Avalanche enhances its flexibility
with more features.
