The Lancer is Mitsubishi’s compact sedan with a rally racing heritage that extends back to the first win
by a specially-prepared Lancer in 1973. The Lancer was introduced to the U.S. market as an
economical small sedan that is sporty and fun to drive, and a dose of its rally heritage was added with
the high-performance all-wheel-drive Lancer Evolution for 2003 and the Ralliart edition for 2004. The
2008 Lancer debuted at the NAIAS 2007 in Detroit with a bold new design featuring a “shark nosed”
effect in the front that’s inspired by jet fighter air intakes. Based on a global platform that is also
shared by the Mitsubishi Outlander, the Lancer has a longer wheelbase and wider track but the
overall length has been reduced. The body structure is stiffer than the previous Lancer which allows
for sport-oriented suspension tuning and a smooth, compliant ride. The Lancer Evolution X is
expected sometime next year.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is available in DE, ES and the sport-tuned GTS. The Lancer ES is
equipped with 5-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels, color-keyed door handles and mirrors and a chrome
grille surround. The more aggressive GTS has 10-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, front and side air
dams, standard fog lights, a rear spoiler and a chrome tailpipe tip. Under the hood is a new 152-
horsepower 2.0-liter DOHC MIVEC 4-cylinder engine delivering 146 lb-ft of torque. The standard
transmission is a 5-speed manual but optional for the first time is a continuously variable
transmission (CVT) in place of an automatic. The interior is more spacious and gives a high-tech feel
with piano black audio switches, metallic-like trim on the shifter bezel and steering-wheel-mounted
audio and cruise controls in the ES and GTS. A Sun and Sound Package featuring a power glass
sunroof, SIRIUS Satellite Radio and a 650-watt Rockford-Fosgate Premium Audio system is available
on the ES and GTS.

The Galant is Mitsubishi’s four-door, five-passenger, front-wheel-drive midsize sedan. Redesigned
for 2004 to be larger, more powerful, and better handling, the Galant also received exterior and interior
styling that includes the signature Mitsubishi split grille and many design cues found in other
Mitsubishi products. For 2007 the Galant gets a makeover with an all-new look, enhanced interior and
refined ride and handling for greater comfort and a more engaging driving experience. Available in
three trim levels: DE, ES and Ralliart, the Galant Ralliart edition has its own unique look and features
including a 258-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 that can accelerate zero to 60 mph in about seven seconds,
Mitsubishi claims.

New for 2008

After a complete makeover for 2007, the 2008 Mitsubishi Galant adds a standard tire-pressure-
monitoring system and Rave Red and Northstar White as new exterior colors. The GTS trim level has
been eliminated.

The Eclipse is Mitsubishi’s sporty coupe that is redesigned for 2006 with bold new styling first
revealed by the Eclipse Concept-E at the 2004 North American International Auto Show. The Eclipse
has been the best-selling import coupe for the last fifteen years. With bold new styling and powerful
new engines, the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse delivers a higher level of sophistication, and Mitsubishi
aspires to impress a new group of buyers with this car as well. For 2007 Mitsubishi adds a
convertible version of its Eclipse called the Eclipse Spyder to its lineup.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse adds more equipment including a standard tire-pressure-monitoring
system and SIRIUS Satellite Radio (added with available Rockford-Fosgate Premium Audio system)
with six months of complimentary service. A limited-edition SE will be available in the summer for
both the GS and GT featuring a specially developed aerodynamic body, Active Skid Control (ASC) and
a number of accessories including a rear cargo net, cargo cover and wheel locks. Styled aggressively
on the outside with a chin spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels, large bold rear wing, alloy fuel door and eye-
catching graphics, the Eclipse is fitted with leather seating, unique interior color combination,
aluminum scuff plates and special floor mats on the inside with the SE package. Production of the SE
Package is limited to 1,000 on the GT models and 4,000 on the GS.

The Outlander is Mitsubishi’s compact, car-based SUV that is built on the Lancer platform. The
Outlander was introduced as a 2003 model and combines the cargo capability of a sport utility with
the driving dynamics of a passenger car. An all-new Outlander debuts for the 2007 model year that’s
based on a new performance-engineered platform that will also be the foundation for the next-
generation Mitsubishi Lancer and Lancer Evolution. The new Outlander is longer, taller and wider
than its predecessor. The interior is designed to look and feel more like a sport sedan than a typical
compact SUV.

New for 2007

The 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander is all new featuring a longer wheelbase and a wider track and is
available in three trims: ES, LS and XLS. Under the hood is a new 220-horsepower aluminum MIVEC
V6 engine that’s teamed to a six-speed Sportronic automatic transmission with available magnesium
steering-wheel-paddle shifters. The exterior is highlighted by a “diamond cut” front end, boldly
sculpted fender flares and LED taillight clusters that give a distinct look. Tinted glass is standard on
LS and XLS while the XLS also receives a color-keyed front bumper with silver skid plate extension,
silver-painted roof rails, door handles, dual exhaust tailpipe outlets and 18-inch alloy wheels. The
interior features smooth forms and sculpted door panels that are offset by silver-accent trim, deeply
contoured front bucket seats and motorcycle-style instrument panel gauges. The load floor is nearly
eight inches lower than its predecessor and when the tailgate is lowered, it can also serve as a seat
for outdoor activities with a weight capacity of 440 lbs.

The Endeavor is Mitsubishi’s midsize crossover SUV, positioned between the traditional midsize
Montero Sport, and the larger Montero SUV. The Endeavor is built on a new platform and was the first
vehicle in Mitsubishi’s “Project America” series. The Endeavor was designed and built in Normal,
Illinois.

New for 2008

The 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor receives some minor additions including standard Active Skid and
Traction Control, two-toned leather interior for the SE, black center dash panel, updated door trim and
leather-covered steering wheel and shift knob with Suki beige stitching.

The Raider is Mitsubishi’s new midsize pickup truck based on the Dodge Dakota that shares the
Dakota frame and drivetrains. Aggressive design cues include bold front and rear wheel arches that
give the rear fenders a step-side look and the Raider has a distinctive hood with a thin upper grille
and thick lower bumper create a front end look reminiscent of other Mitsubishi models. The fully
boxed and hyrdo-formed steel frame creates a rigid platform for the Raider and the independent front
suspension, helps to produce a comfortable ride and good handling. The Raider offers a towing
capacity of 6,500 lbs. and the truck bed has more than 40 cubic feet of cargo space. Raider is offered
in both double cab and extended cab configurations with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

New for 2007

The 2007 Mitsubishi Raider receives minor updates and revises its lineup which now offers one
extended cab and three Double Cab versions. All Raiders are powered by a standard 210-hp 3.7-liter
SOHC V6 engine producing 235 lb-ft of torque. A SE Double Cab arriving later in the model year will
be powered by a 4.7-liter 235-hp V8 engine. All Double Cab models receive new satin interior
finishes. A Power and Convenience Package is now standard for LS Double Cab and optional for LS
Extended Cab and includes a SIRIUS Satellite Radio package with six-months of pre-paid service.
