The 2007 Saturn Ion receives a five horsepower increase to its base Ecotec 2.2-liter engine to 145
and its optional 2.4-liter engine available on the Ion 3 with the Enhanced Performance Package to
175. Also new exterior color Deep Blue replaces Laser Blue.

Already a hit in Europe, GM brings the Astra to the U.S. as the new small car for Saturn. Offered in both
3-door and 5-door version, only minor modifications were needed for the U.S. market including
updates to the front and rear fascias to meet U.S. bumper standards. The styling has been revised to
include Saturn styling cues such as the bright grille bar with Saturn logo and a bright trim bar on the
rear. Underneath is the European developed suspension and according to Saturn, the Astra delivers
both sporty performance and good fuel economy.
New for 2008
The 2008 Saturn Astra is offered as a 5-door in either XE or XR trim and as a 3-door XR, which geared
toward enthusiasts with standard 17-inch aluminum wheels and available 18-inch aluminum wheels
with performance tires. Five-door Astras have standard 16-inch wheels and available 17-inch
aluminum wheels. All Astras are powered by a 140-horsepower 1.8-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine
with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 4-speed automatic transmission. The 3-
door XR includes a faster steering ratio and standard StabiliTrak electronic stability control.

The Aura is Saturn’s midsize sedan and features a new design language that debuted with the
Saturn Sky roadster. Based on the Aura concept vehicle that debuted at the 2005 North American
International Auto Show, it shares a platform with the front-wheel-drive Pontiac G6 and is highlighted
by an elegant, European-influenced design. The Aura is also available in a hybrid called the Aura
Green Line.
New for 2008
After debuting for the 2007 model year, the 2008 Saturn Aura adds a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder
engine to the base XE. StabiliTrak electronic stability control is now standard on XE V6 and XM
satellite radio is standard on all models. Other additions include a heated, auto-dimming driver
outside mirror to the Convenience Package, embossed accents on steering wheel, shifter and door
inserts in Ebony/Morocco premium trim package and real-time fuel economy information on the Driver
Information Center.

The Aura Green Line is the new hybrid version of Saturn’s midsize sedan. According to Saturn, the
Green Line is expected to deliver at least a 25-percent fuel economy improvement over the non-hybrid
Aura XE for a premium of less than $2,500. The Aura Green Line is powered by the same hybrid
system that debuted in the 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line and will be used in the all-new 2008 Vue
Green Line. The Aura features a new design language that debuted with the Saturn Sky roadster and
is based on the Aura concept vehicle that debuted at the 2005 North American International Auto
Show.
New for 2008
After debuting for the 2007 model year, the 2008 Saturn Aura Green Line continues unchanged.

The Sky is Saturn’s two-seat roadster that shares a front-engine rear-wheel-drive platform with the
Pontiac Solstice. Debuting for the 2007 model year, the Sky has its own distinctive look and style to
distinguish it from the Solstice with fender peak and a chrome bar that carries an integrated Saturn
badge. The design features a wide stance, short overhangs, 18-inch wheels, and the convertible top
folds completely into the rear compartment. The interior features piano black and chrome finishes
with optional leather seats and technical grains.
New for 2008
After making its debut one year ago, the 2008 Saturn Sky adds more standard equipment to the
roadster and a new torque beam on all manual transmissions to reduce noise, vibration and
harshness. Equipped as standard are StabiliTrack electronic stability control, limited-slip differential,
a driver’s seat power height adjuster, a tire-pressure-monitoring system, AM/FM stereo with CD player
and MP3 playback, XM Satellite Radio (48 contiguous U.S. states only) and a leather-wrapped
steering wheel.

The Vue is Saturn’s compact SUV that is redesigned for 2008 with a sporty new look with ties to the
styling of the Sky roadster, Aura sedan and the PreVue concept that debuted at the 2006 New York
Auto Show. The tapered roof line and the vent-like accent at the rear edge of the front fenders are both
design cues form the PreVue. The Vue originally joined the Saturn lineup for 2002 and the Vue Green
Line Hybrid was added for 2007. The second-generation Vue Green Line will be added during the
2008 calendar year.
New for 2008
The 2008 Saturn Vue is offered with six drivetrain choices including a more powerful 4-cylinder, two
V6 engine choices, three transmission choices, including a 6-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
The Vue XE receives 16-inch alloy wheels, the XR has 17-inch alloy wheels and the Red Line will
debut later in the year with a more performance-oriented look. Inside, the Vue continues the upscale
theme from the Aura sedan with attention to the use of higher-quality materials and lighter colors to
create a spacious, upscale feel and a focus on precise fit and finish. Examples include chrome
accents on the air vents, center stack, instrument cluster and speakers; low-gloss upper instrument
panel with grain; and amber backlighting. Comfort and convenience features include optional eight-
way power driver's seat, standard flip-down second-row armrest with storage, standard CD stereo
with MP3 capability, standard driver information center in instrument cluster, available automatic
climate control system with electronic controls and available navigation system.

The Vue Green Line Hybrid is the gasoline-electric hybrid version of Saturn’s compact SUV and the
first SUV hybrid from General Motors. Redesigned for 2008, the Vue Green Line shares the same
European-inspired look as the gas-powered Vue. Powered by a new, more affordable hybrid system,
the Vue Green Line is expected to deliver a 20-percent improvement in fuel economy with EPA
estimated of 27 mpg city and 32 mpg highway.
New for 2008
The 2008 Saturn Vue Green Line is redesigned with European-inspired design cues that is shared by
the gas-powered Vue. It is equipped with a long list of safety features and the interior continues its
upscale theme. A Two-Mode hybrid version of the Vue is expected to arrive sometime in the near
future.

The Saturn Outlook is a crossover SUV that combines the capability of an SUV and car-like driving
characteristics with seating for up to eight passengers. Featuring a new design language that was
first introduced on the Sky roadster, the Outlook has a sleek and aerodynamic profile with a sporty,
tapered roof line. The front suspension features a MacPherson strut design, with a direct-acting
stabilizer bar. Isolated mounting points help reduce noise and vibration. The rear suspension uses a
compact, state-of-the-art linked “H” design, which also has an isolated mounting system that reduces
noise and vibration transmitted to the passenger compartment.
New for 2008
After debuting for the 2007 model year, the 2008 Saturn Outlook adds a rear backup camera with
navigation radio, Active on Demand AWD, Panic Brake Assist and a standard XM satellite radio. Rear
park assist is now available on the XE with Convenience Package, a 115V outlet is offered with
Advanced Audio Package and the second-row console is available with captain’s chairs.

General Motors describes the Saturn Relay as a family-utility vehicle, combining SUV-like exterior
styling with the functionality and seven-passenger seating of a minivan. The Relay is the first Saturn
vehicle to offer 7-passenger seating and is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
New for 2007
The 2007 Saturn Relay receives StabiliTrak electronic stability control and a more powerful 240-
horsepower 3.9-liter V6 engine with variable valve timing as standard on all models. The Relay 3 is
updated with new standard features including dual-zone manual climate control with individual
settings for driver and front passenger, premium floor mats and 17-inch painted aluminum wheels.
Four new exterior colors are added: Cosmic Quartz, Polar Blue Metallic, Gold Mist and Cocoa (mid-
year availability).
