new midsize Verona sedan and compact Forenza sedan that were both new for 2004. The Reno is

After a number for upgrades for 2006, the 2007 Suzuki Reno simplifies its lineup to just one trim level
and adds a standard tire-pressure-monitoring system. Available options include ABS with electronic
brake force distribution and the Convenience Package that adds remote keyless entry, steering-
wheel-integrated audio controls, leather-wrapped steering wheel and transmission lever, security
alarm system and cruise control.

The SX4 is Suzuki’s new compact sport X-over (crossover) five-door hatchback with standard all-
wheel drive. The SX4 name is derived from (S)port (X)-over for (4) seasons and is the lowest priced
all-wheel-drive vehicle sold in the U.S. The body and chassis of the SX4 have evolved from the Suzuki
Swift that has earned many awards in Europe and Asia. The SX4 was designed to capture the style
and presence of an SUV in a compact, efficient package.
New for 2007
The 2007 Suzuki SX 4 is powered by a 143-horsepower 2.0-liter engine mated to a 5-speed manual
transmission or a specially tuned 4-speed automatic. The EPA fuel economy rating is 24 mpg city and
30 mpg highway with the automatic transmission. A three mode intelligent all-wheel-drive (i-AWD) is
standard. The three modes are 2WD for dry pavement, AWD Auto which can distribute up to 50
percent of the power to the rear wheels and Lock which delivers 30 to 50 percent of the power to the
rear axel and automatically shifts back to AWD Auto above 36 mph.

The Verona is Suzuki’s midsize sedan, a category that Suzuki entered for the first time when the
Verona was introduced for the 2004 model year. The Verona is intended to challenge the category
leaders with a standard inline 6-cylinder engine, standard automatic transmission, and excellent
interior room.

The 2006 Suzuki Verona continues essentially unchanged for the 2006 model year.

The Grand Vitara is Suzuki’s upscale compact SUV that replaced the Sidekick in 1999 and was the
first Suzuki sold in North America powered by a 6-cylinder engine. Suzuki describes the Grand Vitara
as the perfect combination of space, power, and 4-wheel drive, with seating for five and better fuel
economy than many larger SUVs.
New for 2007
After a complete makeover for 2006, the 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara receives minor upgrades that
includes a tire-pressure-monitoring system and a trip computer.

The XL-7 is Suzuki’s midsize SUV and Suzuki’s largest SUV. The first hint from Suzuki of the XL-7 was
the XL6 concept unveiled at NAIAS 2000 that featured stylish looks and flexibility, and was
considerably larger than the Grand Vitara. The XL-7 offers seating for seven, V6 power, and 4-wheel
drive. For 2007 the all-new XL7 is bigger, bolder and more powerful than its predecessor. Evolved
from the Suzuki Concept-X, which debuted at the 2005 North American International Auto Show, the
2007 XL7 evolves from a rear-wheel-drive, truck chassis SUV into a crossover SUV that delivers a car-
like ride.
New for 2007
The 2007 Suzuki XL7 is all new featuring a bigger body and a more powerful engine. The exterior is
restyled with a sleek and expressive design with triangle-shaped turn signals, bold three-bar grille
with large Suzuki “S,” muscular wheel arches, dual exhaust with chrome tips and integrated roof
racks. Riding on a four-wheel independent suspension, the XL7 is available in front- and all-wheel
drive. Under the hood is a 252-horsepower 3.6-liter 24-valve V6 engine that’s mated to a five-speed
automatic transmission with a manual-shifting feature. Suzuki claims the SUV goes from zero to 60
mph in less than eight seconds and delivers better fuel economy than its predecessor with a rating of
18 and 24 city/hwy for front-wheel-drive models and 17/23 city/why for all-wheel-drive versions. The
interior is more spacious and features upscale wood or satin nickel appliqués on the instrument
panel and doors, chrome accents throughout and matte black, low-gloss surfaces. The optional
Platinum Touring Package (late availability), replaces the DVD entertainment package with a power
tilt-and-slide sunroof and adds a touch-screen DVD-based navigation system and chrome plated
alloy wheels.
