The C30 is Volvo’s new 2-door hatchback and is Volvo’s smallest car for the U.S. market at 8.5 inches
shorter than the S40 sedan. The C30 seats four, with individual, bucket-style, back seats that are

response to the subtle two-tone appearance on the C30 concept car, Volvo will offer optional two-tone
body kit combinations that can add contrasting-color lower body pieces. The C30 shares styling cues
with the Volvo P1800 from the 1970s and also with the Volvo Safety Concept Car (SCC) and the 3CC
Concept.

various grades of steel to help control collision intrusion into the passenger compartment and Volvo
Dynamic Stability Traction Control (DSTC) is standard. The C30 Version 1.0 features a 160-watt MP3-
ready stereo, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, 17-inch wheels, chrome exhaust tips,

speakers by Dynaudio, Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound, 18-inch alloy wheels, a larger roof spoiler
and a sport body kit.
